This research uses descriptive , which is done by taking a primary data and the rate of decay of the trunk to find out the value of the C/N of Palm trunks that had been in 3 methods. Based on the results of this research it can be concluded that the rate of decomposition of plant oil palm trunks after 10 months of implementation of chipping with a hoarse method has a value of C/N 71.81, the rumpuk method 40,67 and in piles method 63,38. After 11 months of a hoarse method is 58.37, the rumpuk method 40.33, and in piles method 56.53. After 12 months of rumpuk method is 36,42 and in piles method 50,18.
